Brad has over 15 years of experience in the solar industry. After receiving his BS degree in Industrial Technology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Brad worked in the semi-conductor industry for more than nine years before joining PV Powered as a field engineer. A Sacramento native, Brad graduated from Jesuit High School and lives in Sacramento with his wife and two children. A few of Brad’s credentials include:
- Certified PV Installer by the North American Board of Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).
- Completed several Advanced PV Design Courses with Solar Energy International, SMUD and Brooks Engineering.
- Adjunct Professor of Solar PV Design and Engineering at American River College.
Fred Becker

Fred has over 20 years of general construction experience and is knowledgeable in all aspects of the construction process. He has completed advanced PV training programs offered through SMUD and designed over a hundred solar PV systems. Fred is responsible for many aspects of system design and installation. His knowledge of the building process ensures that building permits and inspections go smoothly and the job is completed on time. Fred served six years in the US Navy as an Electrical Technician and served in Operation Desert Storm. He lives in Fair Oaks with his wife and daughter.

Christi has over seven years of experience in the solar industry. As an Office Manager, she has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about both the commercial and residential aspects of the business. She has successfully processed hundreds of solar rebate and utility interconnection applications. Christi is known for her great trouble shooting skills to ensure that customers’ needs are met while also ensuring that Valley Solar meets all legal and regulatory requirements. She lives in El Dorado Hills with her husband and two children.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Pablo found his way to the solar industry by way of experience in home improvement. His knowledge of canvassing and marketing has equipped him with the tools to add even more value to the Valley Solar team, and do work that he believes in, helping others live sustainably. When he’s not talking to clients about how they can charge their hybrid or electric vehicle at home using the Charge N’ Go system, he may be helping behind the scenes at a comedy show or playing guitar. Pablo currently lives in Carmichael, CA with his fiancé and two sons.

Courtney brings over a decade of marketing experience to the Valley Solar team. Courtney, who hails from Florida, has a background in marketing for a civil engineering firm and a great interest in solar energy. As Valley Solar’s Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Courtney enjoys talking to people about the benefits of using solar energy and reducing their carbon footprint. When Courtney is not chatting with customers, she spends her time crafting, writing, and cooking. Courtney currently lives in Sacramento.
